RJ45 connector for industrial Etherent

With Weidmüller’s new IE-Line of RJ45 connectors, assembly is simple because it requires no tools and is therefore suitable for termination in the field. The connectors are suitable for Cat.5, 6 or 7 and can also be used for Profinet cabling.

Cable screening and strain relief in the IE-Line are accomplished by utilising a collet cage. The connector housing is slid over the cable and the cable clamp tightened, therefore everything is sealed immediately; this also applies to thin cables. The connectors also implement a colour coding system.

Field termination in industrial environments often equates to inaccessible, dirty places and complicated handling, and many small components make it very difficult to carry out fast, efficient work procedures in such surroundings. The IE-Line is particularly suited to such tricky tasks.
