Pocket-sized plastic cases

The Soft-Case range from OKW features wide-format pocket-sized cases suitable for designs utilising miniaturised electronic components. They are optimised for small display and control systems, making it easy not only to read off the display, but also to operate the unit.

The cases are available in a variety of colours and feature a unique ‘intermediate ring’ which serves as a sealing ring and impact protection device, as well as ensuring that there is more installation volume. They are available with or without battery operation; the battery-capable variants have a snap-in compartment lid which can be secured by a screw.

The cases can accommodate PC boards measuring between 43 x 75 mm and 82 x 140 mm. Available accessories include a set of battery clips, a comb-clip for belt or wall suspension, and a tilt foot bar.

Typical applications are remote control units of many different kinds, wireless or with cable; measurement and control engineering; digital control technology; medical and laboratory technology; peripheral and interface equipment; and communications technology.
