Off-the-shelf 19-inch subracks

New from Elma is the Systemkit Type 12K 19-inch subrack family for packaging of electronic devices.

This system offers off-the-shelf subrack solutions to VME (IEC60297), VME64x and CPCI (IEEE 1101.10) system requirements, but is suited to almost any application requiring a standard rear I/O subrack solution.

In order to protect front-mounted interfaces such as electrical connectors, the interior accessories can be recessed by 60 mm and reduced in height at the same time. This has the advantage that in the lower, larger part, a fan can be built in to achieve thermal optimisation, particularly in the case of higher packing densities.

The Systemkit 12K has been designed with basic EMC protection as standard, which can be enhanced to an advanced level achieving 20 dB attenuation at 2 GHz.

The standard aluminium subracks are supplied with colourless, conductive and RoHS-compliant surfaces. The product range is complemented by a selection of accessories including ergonomic handles, front panels, card guides, mounting chassis and rugged telescopic slide rails for loads up to 90 kg.
