Sarel’s Spacial 3D enclosures have been designed for use in electronics, IT, LAN and communications applications in dirty industrial environments. The protection degree is IP 66 (totally dust-proof and resistant to strong jets of water) and impact resistance is IK 08 (5 Joules).
Two types of enclosures are available: 1- and 2-body. The 1-body enclosures are available either with fixed or swing type 19” rack frames and are 600 mm wide, 400 mm deep and can be ordered in six heights: 300 mm (4U), 400 mm (7U), 500 mm (9U), 700 mm (13U) and 800 mm (16U). The 2-body versions are supplied in the same heights but in depths of either 400 or 500 mm and complete with fixed 19” rack.
The doors have a 4 mm thick safety glass window, are bevelled and double-folded for high rigidity and strength. Excellent sealing is provided by a continuous foamed-in gasket and further enhanced by a gutter profiled and double-folded front of the enclosure body. The enclosures are supplied with a double bar lock and a selection of alternative locking mechanisms such as padlocking handles is available if security is an issue. Cable access is facilitated by gland plates in top and bottom.
The enclosures are fabricated from phosphated, chromate-passivated mild steel, finished with a polyester-based epoxy-modified powder coating, which provides an excellent resistance to weathering, corrosion and mechanical impact.
Accessories include 19” front plates, wall mounting brackets and a full range of ventilation and cooling accessories such as the new Tropico range of filter fans, Peltier and Vortex coolers.
