Samtec’s Mini HDMI (MHDMI Series) I/O interconnect’s mini design is comprised of 19 contact positions with five signal pairs and four power lines. It is offered with surface mounted signal leads, through-hole ground tails and optional latching. The optional latching feature provides a more secure, rugged interconnect with its cable plug mate.
The Mini HDMI mating cable plug (HPSTP Series) features a micro shielded twisted pair 30 AWG cable and has an estimated performance of 1 GHz at 1 metre cable length. This shielded twisted pair cable prevents electromagnetic interference (EMI) from surrounding cables and crosstalk. Cable termination options are mini HDMI to mini HDMI or mini HDMI to standard HDMI.
