Apem has expanded its ‘I’ range of sealed pushbuttons for harsh environments with the introduction of a new 16 mm diameter pushbutton series.
The IR series of sealed momentary pushbutton switches is divided into two families: standard models and microswitch technology models.
The standard models include numerous terminal options, such as solder, flying lead, straight PC, quick-connect and screw-connect. The screw terminal version withstands up to 4 A and features very low behind-panel depth to minimise space requirements.
The microswitch models are available with two electrical functions: NO+NC (three terminals) and NO/NC combined (four terminals) withstanding up to 5 A. Apem offers an illumination option with a wide choice of colours for this type of switch.
The IR series enables customisation such as marking of round flat actuators, and an LED resistor can be integrated on flying lead versions. The switches are sealed to IP67 and are available with a wide choice of bezel and actuator colours.
