Axiomtek recently introduced a tiny fanless embedded box computer which is smaller than an adult hand.
Measuring 130 x 95,4 x 47,1 mm, the eBOX530-820-FL is an embedded system based on the ultra low-power Intel Atom processor running up to 1,6 GHz with the Intel system controller hub (SCH) US15W. The integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 500 offers advanced graphics and 3D performance.
In a rugged compact aluminium chassis, the computer provides a full set of I/O features including one Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports, VGA connector, audio connector and PS/2 ports. It also supports one 2,5” SATA HDD drive bay and a CompactFlash card for high-capacity storage. Additionally, it features DDR2 memory up to 2 GB, and requires only +5 V power input.
For flexible installation, it can be mounted standalone, wall-mounted or DIN-rail mounted. A Watchdog Timer is available to monitor the system.
The fanless design and unique thermal solution enable the eBOX530-820-FL to operate without noise in critical environments at temperature from 0°C to 50°C. The computer also offers excellent vibration resistance up to 1 Grms.
