Sarel is offering a wide range of racks and enclosures that cover the small installation (10 to 50 connection points), medium-sized installations (100 to 1000 connection points) and large third party and industrial installations (over 1000 points). This product offering has been developed to respond to the multiple applications of circulation, telecommunications, IT, servers, etc and specifically for the management of local networks that enable the transmission of voice, data and images (VDI).
The product range includes CasysCABLING floorstanding cabinets of heights from 24U to 47U, CasysOPB floor-standing modular units from 6U to 21U and CasysBOX wall-mounting enclosures from 6U to 18U, with plain- or split-base options. Various depths are available for all the sub-ranges, as well as an extensive selection of accessories to meet varied application needs.
The products have been designed with a patented ‘Easy Cable Access’ entry system said to be amongst the most ergonomic and efficient on the market. The upper and lower cut-outs, being flush to the structure, allow the cabling to be prepared before the rack is installed. Time can be saved due to the fact that all openings and cladding can be rapidly assembled and removed by only one person, and the levelling feet are adjustable from the inside.
The design of the units is aesthetically pleasing thanks to a new look fascia, handles, hinges, rounded shapes and two-tone colour options of grey-black and light-and-dark grey. Floor-standing cabinets have up to 400 kg permissible static load as standard, with the possibility of increasing to 500 kg with a rigidity kit.
A pivot and guide system allows the panels to be replaced very rapidly and safely, while security is achieved by providing lockable doors and side panels that can be fitted with a key locking system.
Adaptability is offered by a configurator system which allows the rack to be clad and accessorised in accordance with the customer’s needs. The 19-inch uprights are depth adjustable with markings on the front and side faces for rapid equipment installation. Slotted ventilation is provided in the sides and doors, and roof and floor ventilation is depth adjustable with the possibility of fitting between one and nine fans depending on size of the enclosure.
