The DC-DC power supply systems of the MPG series from MTM Power are designed for applications in transportation, telecommunications and the charging of lead batteries during standby parallel operation.
The modular and scalable system is based on the DC-DC converters of the series PCMD200W and PCMD400W which are proven in transportation applications. The series MPG2 is available with two plug-in positions and a total output power of 500-800 W and the series MPG3 with three plug-in positions and a total output power of 750-1200 W.
With different wide input voltage ranges between 14,4 and 154 V d.c., the devices supply output voltages of 12, 24, 48, 72 and 110 V d.c. The system can be switched into an energy-saving standby operation via a remote control input.
Further features are signalling of input and output voltage by an LED as well as a potential-free power good signal. The whole system is passively cooled by convection and is designed for an ambient temperature range of -40 to +70°C.
