The new uIBX-200-VX800 from IEI is an ultra compact, low-power and fanless embedded box computer that can VESA mount on the back of any LCD screen thanks to its double sided VESA75 mounting design. The computer’s lightweight and fanless design make it suitable for industrial environments, while conformance to military specification MIL-STD-810F 514.5C-2 makes it capable of withstanding high vibrations.
The PC boasts a VIA Eden ULV 1 GHz processor with VX800 chipset with 1 GB DDR2 RAM. It features the full range of ports one would expect from a modern PC, as well as optional 802.11b/g wireless LAN. The recommended operating system is Windows XP Embedded although, because it uses a well known chipset, the uIBX-200-VX800 is also suitable for use with Linux.
