Gaia Converter is offering DC-DC converters with very wide input ranges of 4:1, 5:1 and even 10:1, with inputs ranging from 4,5 V d.c. up to 480 V d.c. The devices meet the military and avionics electronics market’s input bus requirements of MIL-STD-704, or MIL-STD-1275 standards.

These converters are specifically designed for military and avionics systems found on fighters, tanks, civilian aircraft, missiles, etc, where there are requirements for very wide inputs to cater for high transients, spikes and for drop-outs.

Gaia’s complete series of converters includes more than 3500 different models with output voltages from 2,8 V d.c. up to 48 V d.c., with wide output trim ranges. The modules offer output power from 4 W to 150 W and are supplied in standard industry size quarter brick or half brick formats, making them suitable for COTS applications. They have additionally been qualified according to MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-202 environmental specifications for sustained operation in very harsh conditions.
