Industrial fieldbus I/O station

10 June 2009 Computer/Embedded Technology

Murrelektronik’s Cube20 is a fieldbus I/O station with modular expandability. It can be operated combined with Murr’s Cube67 or directly at the fieldbus. Cube20 is mainly designed for the requirements of modern wiring in control cabinets. Due to the compact design of the modules, with up to 32 inputs and outputs, the system provides high channel density in a small space. This allows up to 488 I/Os on just 90 cm of DIN rail. All Cube20 modules are equipped with maintenance-free, coded plug terminals for typical control cabinet 1-wire connectivity.

Cube20 replaces numerous individual components used in other control cabinet solutions with only a few modules, making installation easier. This saves costs and offers advantages not only in installation but also regarding purchasing, inventory, and logistics.
