Sonitron’s 1100 series piezo alarms generate a loud, intermittent tone and are designed to be installed at the back of a car, truck, forklift or any other vehicle that can move in reverse, thus alerting people nearby.
The devices are tested for use in all weather conditions and have a lifetime in continuous use of more than 1000 hours. The patented technology on which these alarms are built has been in use for more than 20 years in extreme conditions and critical applications such as avionics and railways.
A very low current consumption permits the electrical connection and retro-fitting of the alarm to a vehicle’s reversing lights. Installation is simple and does not require special skills. Adapted mounting is available on request.
