To a large extent, the performance of any IT infrastructure is reliant upon interaction between individual components.
With Rittal server racks, customers have a system platform in which the climate control, power and security solutions are coordinated with one another, and the existing space optimised. This aids in increasing the performance per IT rack, as well as reducing costs.
Rittal’s RimatriX5 solution aims to maximise the packaging density and the efficient use of space. The IT racks may be flexibly arranged, have a positive influence on total cost of ownership, and help to cut ongoing operating costs per rack. The heart of the rack-optimised design is the proven TS 8 system platform featuring state-of-the-art and flexible production processes.
According to Rittal, the most important factor of any IT performance is security, and the second most important is cost effectiveness. RimatriX5’s core focus on efficiency aims to tackle both of these seemingly contradictory requirements. With its emphasis on IT performance, the integrated solution consists of five hardware modules: racks, power, cooling, security, monitoring and remote management, all of which is complemented by a comprehensive range of services.
RimatriX5 provides customers with a customised IT infrastructure from a single source, and short response times thanks to global customer proximity. It allows for the creation of individual solutions with standardised modules, enhanced by software-based planning and configuration. Flexible arrangements and configurations are possible thanks to a rack-optimised design, while servicing and expansion can be performed while the system is operational. Intelligent redundancy concepts are implemented with UPS and climate control.
