Quickon power distribution from Phoenix Contact is an installation technology with IP68 protection that is targeted at industrial applications. By eliminating the need to pre-handle the conductors, the system can reduce installation time significantly. The four-position, IDC fast connection technology is specified for 690 V and 20 A, and can accept conductors from 1,0 to 2,5 mm².
Quickon H distributors, protected from finger contact, are compact and rugged terminal boxes that can be quickly connected up. The four Quickon connections are internally connected with one another. The housing is manufactured out of solid glass-fibre reinforced polyamide. The H distributor can be used with a continuous main distribution cable, with one or two cable feeders or also as a star distributor with one input and three outputs.
