The Erni D-sub high power series has been extended with the addition of two male and one female filtered connectors. All three connectors are equipped with a 47 nF capacitor. Both male connectors are designed to be soldered to a PCB and the female connector termination is soldered to 12 AWG wires. The female D-sub filtered connector fits into the cable connector housing series KSG200, a sheet-metal shielded cable housing with superior EMI/RFI and ESD protection. (data available).
These connectors have a working voltage of 400 V d.c. and insulation resistance is 10 000 MW min at 100 V d.c. Mechanical endurance is 500 mating cycles and the connector/s meet performance requirements of MIL-C-24308. Insertion loss at 25°C is 30 dB (5 MHz), 37 dB (10 MHz), 50 dB (100 MHz), 45 dB (1000 MHz).
