Kaschke’s range of Smart Power flyback transformers are optimised for AC-DC and DC-DC switch mode designs, particularly Power Integrations’ range of TinySwitch, TopSwitch, LinkSwitch and DPASwitch switching ICs. A selector guide gives details on the appropriate transformer to use with each relevant IC.
The transformers feature an integrated safety margin and 3,75 kV primary to secondary isolation as standard. All parts use UL listed materials and comply with EN safety standards. Smart Power transformers employ Kaschke’s K2006 low-loss ferrite material, and are optimised for low leakage inductance and low inter-winding capacitance, with shielded windings to provide improved EMC performance. Triple insulated wire is used on all parts.
The components are designed to suit automated production processes and are subjected to a 100% test before being shipped.
