LNA optimised for RKE

The MAX2634 from Maxim is a low-noise amplifier (LNA) optimised for remote keyless entry (RKE) and tyre pressure monitoring (TPM) applications operating in the 315 MHz and 433 MHz bands. Designed using the company’s SiGe BiCMOS process, this fully integrated LNA improves receiver sensitivity with a 1,25 dB noise figure, while consuming just 2,5 mA of supply current.

The chip features a logic-enabled shutdown mode that reduces supply current to less than 1 μA. It removes the need for external DC-blocking capacitors, enabling a very small solution footprint for today’s continually shrinking key-fob designs. Additionally, it is fully qualified to meet the certification requirements of the AEC-Q100 standard.

The MAX2634 operates from a 2,2 V to 5,5 V supply. Fully specified over the


-40°C to +125°C automotive temperature range, it is available in a 2,0 x 2,2 mm, 6-pin SC70 package.
