Rectangular and square cases

In order to meet individual customer requirements, OKW’s Art-Case series of cases – previously available in round and oval shapes – has now been extended by two new design variants – rectangular and square. The possible applications include electrical and electronic applications indoors, as well as medical technology, computer peripherals and security technology.

In its standard version, the Art-Case is made of ABS (UL 94 HB) in the two standard colours off-white (RAL 9002) and jet black (RAL 9005). One top part and one bottom part form the basis for a basic housing – in the oval/round versions the top part is individually available with or without a recessed surface for using membrane keyboards etc. The bottom part is available in a flat or in a desktop version. The new rectangular cases can be ordered as desktop versions with a recessed panel, with dimensions of 110 x 110 mm or 160 x 110 mm. The heights vary depending on the use of the relevant accessories required.

Depending on requirements, the user has various options to complete the basic housing. These include a lid to cover the battery compartment/base opening in the bottom part; a battery compartment for 2 x 1,5 V AAA batteries and a fitting lid; a base including brackets for 2 x 1,5 V AA batteries and/or as a spacer for ceiling/wall mounting; and a base angled at 30° or base 55° which fits all lower desk parts in order to achieve ergonomic installation and assembly angles.
