Compact SMD quartz oscillator

25 November 2009 Electronics Technology

The new JO21 from Jauch is a miniature oscillator with a frequency stability as tight as ±50 ppm, and is offered in a frequency range from 0,85 MHz to 50,0 MHz. It is available for the extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and is particularly suitable for miniaturised electronic devices with limited printed circuit board space.

The oscillator is housed in a 2,0 x 1,6 x0,6 mm package for supply voltages of 1,8 V, 2,5 V or 3,3 V. Typical applications include office automation, audio and video processing, PC peripherals, LCD monitors, TV sets, satellite receivers and digital still cameras.
