Production programming for TI's DSCs

JTAG Technologies has broadened its in-system programming (ISP) support to include a number of popular DSCs (digital signal controllers) from Texas Instruments (TI).
As a result, both test and development engineers will now benefit from an enhanced device programming portfolio compatible with standard, familiar hardware and software tools. In addition to existing support for over 50 other microprocessors and controllers, JTAG Technologies has now introduced easy options for programming embedded Flash memory within the TMS320F28xx series of DSCs.
This means that in addition to precise PCB testing and high-throughput, onboard programming of discrete Flash memories and CPLDs, users of JTAG Technologies’ tools can now perform ISP of embedded Flash memory within these devices. Custom program registers, accessible via the built-in JTAG interface, allow controller hardware to stream Flash image data into the internal memory rapidly and efficiently.
The applications are available now and may be executed through JTAG Technologies’ ProVision developer suite or within any of its range of run-time software options.
