To meet the demands of the LED lighting and decorative lighting markets, Mean Well has introduced a new AD/DC enclosed type LED power supply. The 45 W PLN-45 series comes in a fully isolated plastic case designed for dustproof and waterproof deployment.
With a simplified single-stage PFC topology, the requirements for LED and decorative lighting – namely high power factor, cost effectiveness and EN61000-3-2 harmonic class C compliance – are achieved economically. The working efficiency of the PLN-45 series is up to 87,5%; hence, they can be operated between -30°C and +50°C using only free air convection. Standard functions include 277 V a.c input voltage capability as well as short circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protections.
