Ingun has developed a new precision RF probe in the form of the HFS-865 series, which enables signals in the microwave range to be detected or applied. The probe provides very good signal transfer characteristics at frequencies as high as 12 GHz, while excellent return loss and transmission characteristics guarantee reliable signal detection. In combination with the MMPX cable assembly, this provides a unique solution for the whole measurement path.
Advantages of the new system include very homogeneous impedance characteristics and the fact that the number of dielectric parts are dramatically reduced. Long airline structures inside the probe enhance the capability of transmitting the highest frequency signals.
