Interconnection
Fischer Connectors has developed new secure interconnect solutions specially designed for defence forces.
First within the UltiMate Military Connectors line is the new LandForce series, offering compact, rugged, lightweight circular connectors for improved protection of future soldiers, vehicles and other land-based equipments. The connectors also feature robust keying, high shock and vibration resistance, advanced shielding and sealing level IP68/69K even when unmated with Fischer’s new facilitated cable assembly solutions.
The LandForce series is complete with EMC 360° shielding tested according to IEC norm 60512-23-3, four robust mechanical codings allowing an easy mating even in the dark, and a wide range of configurations including multipole contacts from two to 19 poles. The plug is available in two body sizes with push-pull locking or emergency release system. LandForce connectors are nuclear, biological, chemical, radiological (NBCR) ready and are tested according to IEC norm 60529.
Made of highly resistant aluminium, these connectors are 50% lighter than typical metal connectors. With their rugged design for harsh and demanding environments, as well as vibration and corrosion resistance, they are immune to fog, salt spray (5% 35°C, MIL STD-202 Method101A), sand and moisture. Lifetime usage is guaranteed for 10 000 mating cycles.
