The TC-08 from PicoLog is a thermocouple to PC converter (USB) that requires no power supply, as it takes its power from the PC/laptop. The module can be used with thermocouple types B, E, J, K, N, R, S and T and outputs can be viewed in °C or mV. The unit is accurate to 0,2% ±0,5°C and has a resolution of better than 0,1°C for most thermocouple types.
The converter can be used to record temperatures in the range of –270°C to 1820°C on all channels simultaneously. The USB TC-08 is a PC-based thermocouple data-logger which allows connection, analysis and display of up to eight inputs. PicoLog, the supplied software package, handles the collection of all data, its display and analysis. It enables collection of up to one million samples and display of the collected data in a number of different formats. This includes recorder view which shows current readings, graph view which continually updates the graphs as new readings are taken and spreadsheet view which displays tabulated data. All data is available for export to other software packages such as Excel.
