Fire protection registers

IDE supplies a range of fireproof register covers in metal and fine wood versions. These register covers are especially designed to act as protectors for chutes that house electrical wiring and as a barrier in the event of fire, actively preventing flame propagation.

The metal covers are made of cold-rolled steel plate and they have an insulating panel comprised of a silica sand compound that prevents flame propagation. The wooden covers are made of fine wood that is also specially treated to prevent flame propagation, and are available in three colours (beech, cedar and oak) in order to adapt to the tastes and aesthetics of different types of installation. Both versions are available in three sizes: 450 x 500 mm, 500 x 700 mm and 300 x 1350 mm. They provide IP43 degree of protection
