The variable ‘Interface Terminal’ range of cases from OKW is designed to meet the requirements for modern man-machine interfaces. They allow the user to choose whether to use the device as a mobile or a stationary unit. Besides the existing M version, suitable for displays with diagonals of up to 8,4”, a smaller S version (6,4”), a large version (10,4”), as well as many different accessories, have now been introduced.
The enclosure solution allow six different versions to be implemented, either vertically or horizontally depending on requirements. The foundation of the system is the basic housing, consisting of the top and bottom parts. This means that with additional components, eg, a base, the following case versions are possible:
* Mobile case with battery compartment for five x 1,5 V AA batteries.
* Mobile case with base panel including handle recess.
* Mobile case with charger and battery compartment (charger contacts available as accessories).
* Mobile case with cradle, without battery compartment.
* Desktop case – case permanently mounted on base at an ergonomically favourable inclination of 20°.
* Desktop/wall-mounted case – case clips onto base. If necessary the unit can be secured by means of a lock.
