C&K Components has developed a sealed pushbutton switch with life cycles to 1 million actuations.
Designated the AP series, the SPST, normally open, momentary action switch is sealed to IP67 specifications and is available in illuminated and non-illuminated versions. The switches are available with multiple mounting styles, including threaded or snap-in mounting. The robust, versatile design makes these switches suitable for a variety of applications ranging from harsh environments such as industrial, off-road and transportation applications, to medical and military equipment, and even gaming devices.
The AP series switches are available with multiple coloured caps (including black, red, orange, yellow and green), allowing users to order one base switch with multiple colour caps to meet application-specific needs. Total travel is 2,3 mm, with a standard actuation force of 4 N (2 N force is optional) and logic level current through 2 A. Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C.
