Bernic has introduced a new range of DIN-rail enclosures which complements the company’s existing line-up with a flexible ‘build your own’ system which employs a modular building block design.
The new rail mounted enclosure is suitable for applications requiring a housing for small PCBs and uses minimal DIN-rail space. Its sleek lines make it an attractive packaging medium for applications such as home and building automation.
The enclosures give a designer the possibility of mixing high and low covers with different modules for connectors, ventilation and styling options. This product further ensures reduced product cost, lead time and production time by removing milling from the customer’s production process. It not only provides a wide range of connection options, but also offers a customer specific enclosure design. Six different sizes are offered, from 35 mm to 210 mm wide.
