For applications where flexible sensor/actuator cabling is important, Phoenix Contact offers an additional module in the form of fully shielded M12 Y-distributors in various configurations.
The fully integrated EMC-compliant shielding is achieved using a metallic inner housing which is connected to the locking screw. Initially, a five-position version is available where the contacts are connected through one to one. For the M12x1 outputs, either sockets or pins can be selected. To ensure secure and simple installation, the Y-distributor has a retaining hole and is equipped with the Speedcon quick connection system.
