Microchip’s new MCP6H01 and MCP6H02 are general-purpose op amps featuring a low typical quiescent current of 135 μA with a gain-bandwidth product of 1,2 MHz and supply voltage from 3,5 V to 16 V. These devices also combine a maximum offset voltage of 3,5 mV, as well as a typical CMRR of 100 dB and PSRR of 102 dB. The ICs are designed for applications that operate on voltages up to 16 V, such as portable instrumentation, heart- and blood-pressure monitors in the medical sector; proximity, temperature or flow sensors in automotive applications; and high-side current-sensing in power supplies for industrial markets. The high CMRR and PSRR improve noise performance, whilst the low current consumption and space-saving package make the parts suitable for portable applications.
