LEMO’s new REDEL XP is a plastic push-pull connector designed primarily for the medical market. It is made from a plastic material that is friendly to sterilisation processes.
The latching system is embedded in the shell for elevated impact resistance with a high contact density making it suitable for medical or measurement applications, from catheters to surgical instruments.
The REDEL XP is available with four different keyways to prevent inadvertent cross-connects or misconnects by the user. The outer shell standard colour is grey with an option of white or black. Back nuts and receptacle front nuts are available in seven colours, again for application identification. Contact configurations range from four to 22 contacts and can be crimp or solder type. The design includes an ergonomic grip which makes it easier for medical staff to mate and align the connection.
