Screened cable

The UNITRONIC LiYCY, Li2YCY and Li5YC5Y cables from Lapp Kabel features screened single cores and electromagnetic protection. Target applications include wiring of measuring instruments, switch cabinets, electrical components and transmitter and receiver units. Li5YC5Y cable is particularly suitable for extreme conditions involving exposure to chemicals or heat. Since it is possible that individual cable routes may be disturbed by external electrical influences, the signal transmitted along the cores can also interfere with other components; these effects are prevented by screening the cores.

The cables boast features such as bare copper wire stranded conductors, PVC core insulation and outer sheath. They are colour coded in accordance with DIN 47 100 and feature tin-plated copper wire braiding. Flame retardance in accordance with IEC 60332-1 is guaranteed. The cables are supplied in pebble grey (RAL 7032) and the outer sheath is also available in special colours upon request.
