Male headers on 1,27 mm spacing
16 March 2011
Interconnection
In order to meet the increased requirements for connectors with 1,27 mm grid spacing, Fischer Elektronik has extended its range of male headers by introducing the SLV N ... series.
Thanks to a cross section of 0,4 mm, the pin contacts feature a higher mechanical stability than the previous version which had a cross section of 0,3 mm. The narrow insulator has the same width as before, ie, 1,25 mm. The male headers are available with a number of contacts between one and 20 with a gold- or tin-plated (block tin) surface in various lengths.
As the insulators consist of a high-temperature resistant plastic (flammability class UL94 V-0), the connector is suitable for lead-free reflow soldering. The contact material of the male headers is CuZn30. Safe functioning in a temperature range of -40°C to +163°C is guaranteed. The material of the male header conforms to EC Directive 2002/95/EG (RoHS) and EC regulation 1907/2006 (REACH).
