Hakko has developed the new FX-888 soldering station and packed it with new technology to improve its performance over the preceding 936 model. These advancements have provided up to a 30% increase in operator productivity due to improved thermal performance and faster thermal recovery time. Required workbench space has also been reduced by roughly 35%.
The soldering station features an adjustable temperature control with lock/set screw to vary the temperature between 200°–480°C. The unit is able to maintain idle temperature within 1°C and its ceramic heating element and sensor ensure rapid heat-up temperature and fast thermal recovery.
