The ARKNAV R-35W is a waterproof GPS tracker with long standby power capability, suitable for protecting and tracking the movements of valuable equipment in real-time or by means of alarm triggers. Completely sealed with IP67 rating, the unit can be used in harsh environments of dust and water. It also has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, making it suitable for snow or desert use.
The unit is easily installed and has a wide range power input of 7-37 V d.c. If the power to the tracker is removed, it will operate from its internal battery and if necessary switch to standby mode to conserve battery power. In sleep mode, it can operate for months or even up to three years thanks to a backup battery. As soon as the external power is connected or turned on, it will not only be back to online mode, but also charge its own backup battery automatically.
The ARKNAV R-35W’s special emergency features include a digital input which can be used as a panic button in a vehicle application or for other security purposes; a relay output which can be used to disable an engine or other security function; and a closed-loop input which, when broken, can be used to trigger alarm outputs. Software for the tracker integrates with Google Maps and satellite.
