Mixed-signal connectors

8 June 2011 Interconnection

Spectrum’s new Mini-MIL circular connectors are designed to offer space and weight savings while providing equivalent performance to standard MIL-DTL-38999 connectors.

This new series of micro connectors offers a wide mixed-layout choice with up to 120 low-frequency contacts, 64 high-frequency or high-power contacts, or virtually any combination of the three. Coaxial high-frequency contacts allow high-speed signals up to 6 GHz and high power (series 22 up to 10 A and series 30 up to 20 A).

The CMM340 series uses stainless fixing hardware for extreme vibration resistance and encompasses a range of other options including polarisation, PCB fixing hardware and 94 UL VO rated plastic backshells for applications ranging from wire-to-wire to board-to-board offering through-hole, surface mount or press-fit on PCBs. All CMM products are RoHS compliant and whisker free with a temperature range of -60°C to +260°C and durability of up to 2500 operations. Nicomatic’s CMM connector system has a proven history in military and aeronautic fields, and conforms to both the Mil-C-55302 and BS-9525-F0033 specifications.
