A new range of rugged USB connectors from Spectrum features a heavy-duty design able to connect to USB 2.0 or 1.1 ports, making them suitable for demanding, high-stress applications.

The connectors meet sealing requirements of IEC-60529, Code IP67 on the PCB side, as well as immersion requirements per MIL-STD-810F, Method 512,4 to 20 metres when unmated. They are RoHS compliant and supplies with a sealing gasket. The connectors have a current rating of 1,5 A and contact resistance of 30 m, and are rated for operation between -40°C and +105°C.
