Anderson Power Products has introduced the SPEC Pak Extreme connector, an extension of the SPEC Pak range that increases current handling capability to 320 A. This is achieved by using one of the four individual insert holders that offer customisation though the use of Powerpole connector technology.
The SPEC Pak Extreme is capable of holding up to two PP180 connectors, four PP120 connectors, four PP120 connectors combined with two PP75 connectors or nine PP75 connectors. A PP15/45 housing adapter can be substituted for one of the PP120 connectors to provide additional power, signal and/or ground options for greater design flexibility.
Contacts accommodate wire sizes ranging from 0,25 to 85 mm² and can be inserted in a wide range of colour housings providing colour-coding options. The combination of housings, power, ground and signal contacts, housed in an IP68 rated, UL94 V-0 rated shell, offers thousands of design options.
