Stylish wiring devices

17 August 2011 Interconnection

Legrand’s new range of Arteor wiring devices combines a stylish design and leading-edge technology for enhanced aesthetics and flexibility in commercial and residential environments.

Arteor, which meets the requirements of the most basic electrical functions as well as complicated automation tasks, is available with a wide choice of design options and finishes for different environments. An important feature is that users are able to mix and match the design option and type of finish for any control function; these combinations can be changed at any time to suit exact requirements.

The Arteor range is compatible with local and international socket and flush-mounting box standards. Finishes include woven metal, red mirror and marine leather, as well as plastic, metal, tattoo, wood and brushed steel. The devices have a bevelled profile which gives the illusion that the product is not attached to the wall. The ‘bi-material’ plates are extra-flat and slim-lined.

Legrand designers have also revised the shape of conventional rocker plates, introducing a new round design for easy navigation of the controls. Standard square rocker plates have also been re-designed with a slightly concave shape for an improved grip. These rocker plates – round and square – are available in white or magnesium.

Arteor cover plates with mirror finishes, combined with metal, are suitable for high-tech environments. There are also cover plates with a minimalist style for classic-style installations. Natural materials like light oak and darker wood are enhanced with metal details. High-quality, authentic leather plates and those with woven metal complete the wide choice of finishes available. Universal icons ensure easy recognition and instinctive hand-eye control.

Arteor is targeted at architects, interior decorators, electricians and home owners who call for a flexible and modern system.
