IEI Technology’s TANK-GM45A is a fanless embedded system suitable for use in environments with wide temperature variations. It is powered by the Intel Core2 Duo processor and Intel GM45 chipset, and includes 2 GB of DDR2 memory. The computer supports high-performance
MPEG-2 decoding, WMV9 (VC-1) and H.264 (AVC) formats for reduced file size or improved quality for the same file size. With enhanced video processing capabilities, it is particularly suited for applications in surveillance and security systems.
The system supports extended temperatures from -20°C up to 70°C with one industrial 2,5” SATA Flash disk featuring anti-vibration technology. When deployed into a digital security surveillance system, the TANK-GM45 provides high video resolution, high performance and low power consumption. Dual onboard Gigabit Ethernet connectors provide fast connectivity to data networks and also high-speed IP camera connectivity.
The computer includes the latest recovery software from IEI called One Key Recovery. The software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after an unexpected system failure by creating a full system backup on demand and enabling system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click.
