High-speed ADCs

28 September 2011 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Analog Devices has released new single- and dual-channel 14-bit high-speed A/D converters for use in communications, instrumentation and test and measurement applications. The AD9648 consumes 102 mW/channel at 125 MSps and features SFDR performance of 91 dBc at 70 MHz. With IF sampling frequencies up to 200 MHz, it is suitable for implementing multimode digital receivers. The AD9642 is housed in a 5 x 5 mm package and boasts IF sampling frequencies up to 350 MHz, supporting wide bandwidths up to 125 MHz. It features an SNR of 72,2 dBFS and SFDR of 90 dBc at base band, while consuming only 360 mW at 250 MSps.
