Mantech Electronics is the sole distributor of Ritar batteries in South Africa, through which a comprehensive range of sealed lead acid, AGM, VRLA, gel and OPZ series batteries are locally stocked and supplied.
Applications include telecommunication, UPS and backup systems, renewable energy, electric vehicles, golf carts and trolleys.
The range includes AGM batteries from 0,8 to 260 Ah with a reliable 5 and 10-year floating service design life. 2 V d.c. AGM cells from 200 to 3000 Ah with an expected floating design life of up to 15-18 years, as well as front terminal AGM batteries, are designed specifically for the telecommunication and backup markets.
The EV series is specifically designed for deep cycle discharge and grouping usage which may be discharged up to 300 cycles at 100% DOD is focused on light electric vehicles, wheelchairs and battery-driven golf carts.
The OPzV series is a valve regulated lead acid battery that adopts immobilised gel and tubular plate technology to offer high reliability and performance. The battery is designed and manufactured according to DIN standards and with die-cast positive grid and a patented formula of active material. The OPzV series exceeds DIN standard values with more than 20-year floating design life at 25°C and is even more suitable for cyclic use under extreme operating conditions, offering up to 3600 cycles at 20% DOD.
