Targeting a unique touch sensation, the new BLOB range of mobile enclosures from OKW makes it possible to implement many different configurations and applications.

The product family supports applications that are flexible enough to meet the needs of a large number of people with different hand sizes and grasping volumes.

The range of enclosures was developed as two-piece objects, consisting of a top part and a bottom part in the standard colours off-white (RAL 9002) or lava (NCS S 7502-B) and the high-quality material ABS (UL 94 HB). There is a choice of three different types, depending on requirements:

The UNIT version with the dimensions 130 x 60 x 30 mm (L x W x H) can be held and operated at the same time with one hand – with the left as well as with the right hand.

CONTROL is an enclosure that can be held with one hand and operated with the other. Depending on the position and definition of the display and operating area, different sensory gripping options are available. The dimensions are 114 x 76 x 31 mm.

A handheld and/or desktop enclosure with the dimensions 200 x 165 x 36 mm, the PANEL version can be held with two hands or placed on a table top and operated. The two symmetrically positioned gripping areas clearly show the user the orientation of the product.

The last two versions each have a separate recess with which special functions can be clearly highlighted. They can be powered either internally with round or button cells, or externally by means of cable. The range of accessories includes battery clips, button cell holders and cable glands. Protection class IP54 is possible with the help of optionally available sealing.
