The USB-4704 from Advantech is a USB data acquisition (DAQ) module that can be used to read and write analog and digital values to/from a connected computer.
Its many potential uses include laboratory measurement of all types of sensors and transducers; alarm systems measuring voltages, temperature sensors, digital input and controlling electrical systems; data-logging of analog or digital signals on desktop, laptop or embedded PCs; and teaching the use of analog signal measurement and control.
The bus-powered device supports USB 2.0 and features eight analog input channels with 14-bit resolution and 48 KSps sampling rate; 2 12-bit analog output channels; 8 digital inputs and eight digital outputs; and a 32-bit counter operating up to 5 MHz. It measures 132 x 80 x 32 mm.
