The variable INTERFACE-TERMINAL series of enclosures from OKW is ideal for the visualisation of data, and offers ease of operation. Depending on the requirements, this series of enclosures can be used in vertical or horizontal orientation, and also offers plenty of room for the use of large-volume operating elements, graphics displays and touch screens measuring 6,4“/8,4“ and 10,4“.
Besides the existing application options – as a mobile and/or desktop version, wall mounted by means of a flat or inclined station – the INTERFACE-TERMINAL can now also be fully integrated in the wall or in front panels; installation in plant and machinery is also conceivable. This is made possible by a new installation assembly kit available in three sizes with a fine design cover in the standard colour off-white (RAL 9002).
The installation of the assembly kit is simply done by mounting the appropriate holder (supplied) on the fully assembled enclosure. Then the complete unit is set in the cutout and aligned correctly, followed by marking and drilling of mounting holes. Then the device is connected to the cables and fixed in place from the front using the holders and the design cover is pushed on. This also has visual advantages, because the screw connections are not visible, but always remain accessible for subsequent maintenance or installation work.
The complete enclosure can be fitted with four different visible parts – with an ABS top part or a front panel made of either aluminium or ABS, as well as a glass panel with a suitable bracket. For individual requirements it is also possible to paint the design cover in the customer‘s preferred colour, or to give it a special appearance using water transfer printing, for example wood, carbon, stainless steel, marble and many more.
