Image acquisition PCI board

National Instruments' IMAQ PCI-1409 image acquisition plug-in board can acquire images with up to 1024 grey scales. With four video inputs and calibrated to ensure consistent and repeatable image acquisition, the PCI-1409 acquires high-resolution images from standard and nonstandard cameras. The board can also acquire colour images of stationary objects from NTSC, PAL and RGB cameras when operating in the company's StillColor mode, which can acquire colour images from traditional monochrome hardware.

The PCI-1409 can acquire images in 8 or 10 bit mode at very high rates, such as 60 frames/s using a double-speed progressive scan camera.
