Filtered D-sub connector series

1 August 2001 Interconnection

Interference-free data transmission in modern systems used in communication and information technology requires protective measures wherever signals enter or leave devices and components. Erni says its TMC D-sub filter connectors are the ideal instruments to suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI). The line of D-sub filter connectors has now been extended with the new range of female filter connectors in straight and right angle versions.

The new female TMC filter connectors have high quality ceramic capacitors for effective filtering. Additional design features are a very good low-resistance ground connection between the filters and the metal housing.

For ease of installation and interconnectability, Erni has also developed a range of pre-fitted mounting accessories to suit varied and specific customer applications.

The capacitance ranges from 330 to 1550 pF (standard 1000 pF) and housing sizes are: 9, 15, 25 and 37 in male or female version. These connectors are suitable for different PCB thickness with pushfit clip from 1,4 up to 4,5 mm.
