Jauch has released two new miniature quartz oscillators in surface-mount packages.
The JXS11 is a crystal whose very high frequency stability (as tight as ±10 ppm) makes it relevant for ZigBee, Bluetooth and other wireless applications. It generates frequencies from 26,0 to 54,0 MHz and its 1,6 x 1,2 x 0,35 mm size makes it suitable for electronic devices with extremely limited printed circuit board space.
The JXS11 is available for the standard operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C or the extended range of -40°C to +85°C for industrial applications. It provides the possibility of EMI shielding by grounding the metal lid in order to reduce the EMI radiation in critical applications. The crystal complies with the EU RoHS directive and is compatible with fast automatic assembly line processes.
The other new part – the JO21 – is a 2,0 x 1,6 x 0,8 mm oscillator with frequency stability as tight as ±25 ppm and a frequency range from 1,625 MHz to 54,0 MHz. It too is targeted at miniaturised ZigBee, Bluetooth and other wireless applications, as well as audio and video processing, PC peripherals and more.
The JO21 is also available for the same operating temperature ranges as the JXS11.
