The SMQ32SN from Jauch is a small SMD crystal offered at a frequency of 32,7680 kHz. The sealed ceramic metal package contains a highly reliable and heat-resistant tuning fork crystal.

The device is optimised for industrial, telecom, consumer and portable electronic applications and is especially adapted for RTCs (real-time clocks) or ultra-low-power microcontroller applications. It is well suited for use in battery operated devices where reduced standby energy consumption is critical.

The SMQ32SN provides the possibility of grounding the metal lid in order to reduce EMI radiation in critical applications. It is available for the standard operating temperature range from -20°C to +70°C, as well as for the extended operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C for industrial applications. It complies with the EU RoHS directive and is suitable for fast automatic assembly lines.
